That's going to very greatly with different folks' reading abilities, skills, and preferences. I couldn't take the time out (skipping the cleaning/driving/grooming/etc) to sit down and read a book. It allows me to continue absorbing a book while doing other things. I can definitely follow an audiobook while doing other tasks - cleaning, driving, grooming our dog, etc. I think the two are surprisingly different.
